Valentine’s Day 2010 – Things I love About My Husband

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, I’ve decided to write a few posts about the things I love most: my family. This first post is (clearly) about my husband and the things that I love about him! Next post will be about my daughter and the post after that will be about the things I love in general.

My husband is:
*Helpful
*Caring
*Hard-working
*Selfless
*Intelligent
*Talented
*Ambitious
*Driven
*People-pleasing
*Creative
*Amusing
*Considerate
*Humble

What I love about my husband:
*The way he reads stories to our daughter; he’s patient with her questions, he takes his time reading everything and gets her involved by asking her questions to make her think and learn.
*He takes the trash to the curb twice a week. Every week. Without a reminder.
*He’s always willing to not only cook us dinner (considering I’ve never been a cook), but he’s always willing to make breakfast, lunch, snacks and desserts, too!
*He’s passionate about getting through school so that he can get into the web design field and create a better life for our family, one that hopefully involves me being able to stay home with our daughter.
*He offers to get up with the baby when she’s sick to let me sleep (could that possibly have anything to do with the fact that I’m such a bear when I don’t get enough sleep?).
*He always seems to know the best restaurants to try.
*He organized the BEST surprise party for me last year; it was such a great night that I have no idea what to do for this year, the big 3-0!
